Wat Dat Iz: The Album (Download Here)

The plan for the Wat Dat Iz project is to shed lights on the Austin’s hip hop scene as a whole, because I think a lot of talented Austin’s artists deserve more exposure for their work. I thought of an idea to collaborate talented artist with other talented artist whom normally wouldn’t collaborate even though they respect each other craft. The positive outcome I imagined for this idea is that artists can share their fans with other artist’s fans and vice versa.

P.S. Vinay the Producer helped me produced U Gotta Fight (he did most of the work). Yunxta helped me produced Digital Me.

You can download the album by clicking on the button below. A lot of hard work and money is put into this album. The whole creation of the album took a year and the price isn't cheap. We want to gain as much exposure for the album as possible to put Austin TX on the map. The album come with one price which is the price of a tweet.

If you don't think the album is worth a single tweet or you don't have twitter then download the album here:

Wat Dat Iz and NV of NVisions!

Imagine for a few minutes, you are in your early twenties, your expertise is film making, your taste in music is hip hop and r&b, you get a call from a friend who has a feature with a major artist and they want you to shoot their next video. They take you to Atlanta to Galaxy Studios and you see a decked out room with a wall to wall green screen, Now this your chance to turn the screen into a creative product which will push their single to a broader audience, What do you do next? Stuck? This would be a task for NV of NVisions, a Austin ran business!

NV is a full-time dad juggling the responsibilities of parenting his son and as well as his own company N Visions. He is a music producer, graphic designer, video director, and photographer; as you can see he wears many hats. NV says what he like most about running N Visions is the fact that he has control over his own operation. A typical day for NV consists of a lot; he starts off with making phones calls, then some beat making intertwined with some track mastering, after that he might mix in some video editing which takes on average a week for him to finish a single project. Finally, he is back to answering his phone and replying to customers

Recently Nv shot the video I Got ‘Em for the Wat Dat Iz project. He says his main focus was making sure that the colors and visuals told the story to go with the song. NV says that he hopes all his videos reach their full potential. “BET, MTV or some other music network would be nice, but as long as the videos fulfill what the artist wanted I’m happy.” Says NV, he says he’s not really worried about awards now, he still feels he’s still developing in many ways. He doesn’t do it for the recognition or the glory, but because he simply loves everything that he does. NV is out to be the “Next Best Thing.” His upcoming projects consist of 2 video shoots with Chalie Boy and as metioned earlier he has already shot a video for Asylum artist “Nook” and the “Ying Yang Twins” ( I’m On It ) .Keep a look out for the NVisions logo because you might see it on your fav. rappers next video.

Seeing how this is the Wat Dat Iz website, NV had this to say about the Wat Dat Iz project. “I like the Wat Dat Iz project. I hope it stays humble and keep giving that recognition to artists that don’t really get the recognition they deserve. I would like to see it move toward showcasing more genres, not just rap. Get the other music genres in Austin to be a part of this project.” Stay tuned for more from NV and NVisions, if you want to know more about NV just checkout these links.

Wat Dat Iz and Gerald G

Gerald G has not only dropped two verses for the Wat Dat Iz - A New Hope project, but he also let us use his studio to record some of the artist for the CD when we were pressed for time, Having Gerald G on your track is a plus for anybody in the city, I was fortunate enough to be one of those people as Gerald G and ATX RAP VETERAN Casino hopped on the "Flossin N Austin " track with me while Iz ( DNX Entertainment ) solidified the track with a banging hook. This track is perfect to cruise to and listen to while your at house parties or parkin lot pimpin! Gerald G is also on the " Clap Ya Hands " song as well, Collaborating with Y2JJ ( Poison Boyz ) and Kush! You can hear Gerald on the Wat Dat Iz album, more details coming soon!

Wat Dat Iz and Kush

This is Kush, When I was putting the Wat Dat Iz album together I was trying to reach to artist that I wasn't familiar with in hopes of expanding the sound and variety of the product, Kush was exactly what I was looking for, It was my producer Crooked T's idea to put him on the " Man Ain't Here " song, after hearing him on the track we both was impressed. Kush has a undeniable cool factor to him, and his songwriting is on point to say the least, We put him on 3 songs ( Man Ain't Here also feat. T Fowler and Pimpin Pen, Clap Ya Hands also feat. Y2JJ and Gerald G, and Do It Again also feat Ostacz and LatinSoul ) for the album because I knew he was gonna hold his own and I knew he would come at it from a unique perspective that each of those tracks would need. Kush would sound great on his own, but as you listen to the CD, you will realize he's also a team player. Here's a promo video of Kush's single " Superstar " feat ( grammy award winners ) Los Lonely Boys of who he has a distribution deal with!

Wat Dat Iz and King Solo ( Dollaz N Since )

This is King Solo, He's from Waco, but he's currently doing his music in Austin Tx, He has a bright future ahead of him and tell you the truth the present ain't looking to bad for him either, He's on the Wat Dat Iz album, the Track that he's on is called "You Gotta Fight" also on the track is T Fowler and Pimpin Pen, Solo and Pen have had their disagreements in the past, but they've come together on this track through the mutual friendships of myself and T Fowler, They did it for us and the city in general, the track is a standout track and one of my favorites off top, It just shows you we can all come together and get this money, I commend both men, Now here's a preview of King Solo and his song with Gucci Mane, King Solo has a inspirational flow and he stays motivated, that is why he is on the album! Wat Dat Iz coming soon!
